Jeff is the Leasing Director of SCI's Texas portfolio, and is responsible for all aspects of project leasing related to current assets, new projects and excess land.  Since joining the company, he has completed brokerage transactions valued in excess of $50-million.  In addition, Jeff is involved in sourcing new projects and site development, asset management, and handles third-party services including developer and tenant representation, most recently, representing PGA Tour Superstore to secure their first Austin location.

Prior to joining StoneCrest, Jeff worked for SouthStar, a Nashville based development and investment firm.  During his time with SouthStar he gained valuable development and pre-development experience from his involvement in various mixed-use, retail and medical projects including a 97,000 square foot medical development in Mississippi, assisting in assemblage and acquisition of 50+ developable acres in Franklin, TN and participating in the planning, marketing and pre-development approval process of a high density lifestyle center located on a 145 acre site in middle Tennessee.  Additionally, Jeff re-positioned and sold two commercial assets for a third-party client and assisted a national memory care operator in land acquisitions.

Smith received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a dual major in Real Estate and Marketing from Baylor University.

Jeff lives in Austin and enjoys spending time with his wife, and is an avid outdoorsman.
